Which shooting disciplines do Tachus systems support?
The Tachus family covers 10 m air rifle and air pistol (Tachus 10), 25 m sports pistol and standard pistol (Tachus 25), 50 m rifle and free pistol (Tachus 50), and a convertible 50 m / 10 m option (Tachus 50/10 Hybrid).
Can one target cover more than one distance?
The Tachus 50/10 Hybrid converts between 50 m rifle and 10 m air rifle/pistol configurations in about ten minutes using interchangeable front doors. All other models are built for a single distance.
Can I train for 50m Rifle 3 Positions with Tachus?
Yes. Tachus 50 ETS and Tachus 50/10 ETS include Tachus 50 3P applications for Windows and Android. The applications support training across the kneeling, prone and standing positions.
Can the same system be used for training and competitions?
Yes. Tachus systems are designed for daily training as well as competitive use, and ranges run club competitions on them. For events with multiple lanes, Tachus Display Manager puts live scoring from every lane on the range displays, with an optional Live View that spectators outside the range can watch but cannot control.

Which devices can run the Tachus scoring application?
Every Tachus model includes scoring software for a Windows laptop or desktop and an Android application optimized for tablets in portrait orientation. Contact our team to confirm current device and operating system requirements.
How does acoustic shot detection work?
When a pellet or bullet strikes the target's impact medium, the impact produces sound waves. Acoustic sensors inside the unit detect those waves and convert them into electrical signals, which the system processes to calculate the exact shot position. The score then appears immediately on the connected screen.

Are Tachus targets ISSF certified?
Tachus targets comply with ISSF rules and regulations for the events they support. Tachus does not claim ISSF certification.
Do Tachus systems include a mounting stand and installation at the range?
Tachus supplies a mounting stand with Tachus 25, Tachus 50 and Tachus 50/10 systems. Installation and service at the range are also provided for these models.
