Plan the range around the shooting.

Start with the distance, how the range will be used and how many lanes you need. Then add the scoring, analysis and display tools that fit the setup.

Start here

Three decisions define the setup.

01

Which distance?

Choose 10 Meter air rifle and pistol, 25 Meter pistol, 50 Meter Small bore Rifle and 50 Meter Free Pistol, or a convertible 50/10 lane.

02

How will it be used?

Daily practice, coached training and club competitions need different software and display arrangements.

03

How many lanes?

A personal lane can run from one computer. Ranges with multiple lanes may also need operator and TV displays.

01

Home training

A dedicated electronic lane for daily practice.

For 10 Meter air rifle or air pistol at home, Tachus 10 Electronic Target System provides live scoring on a Windows computer without replacing a paper target after every series. The screen records shot position, decimal score, direction, time, inner ten count, group and totals.

  • Best fit: Tachus 10 Electronic Target System for a dedicated 10 Meter lane
  • Use Tachus 50/10 Electronic Target System when the same lane must support both distances
  • Plan the firing point, target position, cable route and computer location

02

Academies & clubs

Build the lane mix around the events you teach.

Start with the disciplines your shooters train for, then choose the number of lanes. Tachus has dedicated systems for 10 Meter, 25 Meter and 50 Meter events. Every target connects by cable to a Windows computer running Tachus scoring software.

  • Tachus 10 Electronic Target System: 10 Meter air rifle and air pistol
  • Tachus 25 Electronic Target System: 25 Meter sports pistol and standard pistol, including range lights controlled through the software
  • Tachus 50 Electronic Target System: 50 Meter Small bore Rifle and 50 Meter Free Pistol

03

Coaching & analysis

Review the pattern behind the score.

The scoring screen keeps each shot in series context instead of showing only a final total. Coaches can review group, mean point of impact, timing and shot distribution, then use Tachus Analytics Reports to compare sessions over time.

  • See shot number, score, direction and shot time together
  • Review group and mean point of impact on the scoring screen
  • Use rhythm, score progression and shot distribution in Tachus Analytics Reports

04

Club competitions

Give operators and spectators a clear live view.

For a 10 Meter range with multiple lanes, Tachus Display Manager brings lane scoring into one local system. Range staff use an operator interface in the browser, shooters see their lane displays, and the range can show scores on a TV display.

  • Operation through the local range network
  • Lane displays plus an operator and TV view
  • Optional Live View that remote spectators can watch but cannot control

05

Institutions

Specify a range that staff can operate and maintain.

Institutional projects need more than target units. Our team installs and commissions the system, trains range staff to run sessions and routine upkeep, and provides support from Bengaluru. Maintenance is based on replacing the relevant paper or rubber impact medium as it wears.

  • Select the system by discipline, distance and lane count
  • Include installation, commissioning and staff training
  • Request product specifications and a project quotation for procurement
