What the numbers add to a coach's eye
A coach watches position, hold and release. What the eye cannot do is hold sixty shots in working memory and compare this Tuesday against the last four. That is bookkeeping, and bookkeeping is what software is for.
None of it replaces the coach. It settles the questions the eye alone cannot, usually in less time than the argument would have taken.

The screen keeps each shot in series context instead of showing only a final total. A weak third series shows up as exactly that.

Fitting the record into coached time
The setup does not change for coaching. What changes is what you do between series, and a few settings are worth knowing about.
The screen beside the shooter
The lane's Windows computer runs the scoring beside the shooter, and the included Android application puts the same session on a tablet. Shooter and coach read the same numbers between series without leaving the line.
Delay the score
For shooters who react to every number, Tachus 10 can hold the score back after each shot. Attention stays on hold and follow through instead of the result.
Personalise the session
Sessions can be set up per shooter, and shot pattern views help identify tendencies and errors worth working on.
